These Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones have reached the end of their software support

Xiaomi has added popular phones like Mi 10 series and Redmi Note 10 series to its end of support list.

Xiaomi has just updated the “end of life” (EOL) list of its phones. This Chinese company will no longer provide software support for the phones on this list. In the new list, we see the addition of popular models such as Xiaomi Mi 10 series and Redmi Note 10 series.

Xiaomi has updated its EOL list and it includes various phones from Redmi and Poco brands. The Mi brand phones you see in the list below no longer receive software support from this company:

  • Xiaomi Mi 10S (China part number)

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (part number for China, Global and Europe)

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 (part number China, Global, Europe, England, India, Turkey and Indonesia)

Xiaomi phones that are no longer supported by software

In addition to the list of Xiaomi Mi series phones, the company has included some Redmi brand phones in its EOL list. You can see these phones below:

  • Redmi Note 10 Pro (Part Number Global, Europe and Indonesia)

  • Redmi Note 10 (Türkiye part number)

  • Redmi Note 10 5G (Türkiye and Taiwan part number)

  • Redmi Note 10T (UK part number)

Also, Xiaomi has added a Poco brand phone to the EOL list: Poco M3 Pro 5G (part number Turkey and England).

Phones on the EOL list will no longer receive regular software updates, including the addition of new features, bug fixes, and critical security patches that protect the phone from vulnerabilities and malware. This action is also common in the world of smartphones and other digital products; Smartphone manufacturers usually only provide software support for a few years, even flagship phones are no longer supported by the manufacturer after a while.

Of course, users can run new updates on outdated phones with different solutions, but this work requires technical skills and is not recommended for everyone.
