Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 6 last month and claimed it was thinner. Now Honor has targeted this claim and presented its Magic V3, which was introduced in China a while ago, to the Koreans. This phone is going to be introduced to the global market at IFA 2024.
According to Android Headlines, below is an image shared by HONOR through its social media channels. The company says:
In this poster, Honor is promoting the design of the Magic V3, which has already been launched in China. The Magic V3 looks significantly slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and previous models.
The thinnest Honor foldable phone is 9.2mm when folded, and the thicker version is only 9.3mm. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, by comparison, is 12.1mm thick when folded. The Magic V3 is also lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, weighing in at 226 and 230 grams, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 weighs in at 239 grams.
In this image, Honor has placed three Samsung foldable phones next to each other without mentioning the name. Next to them is the Magic V3 phone and the text between the devices says: “Maybe one day you will reach this level…”.
Universal introduction of Magic V3 Honor
The global version of the Magic V3 phone will be introduced on September 5 (15 September 1403). So on the same date, Honor will showcase this device in Berlin and the IFA exhibition. Expected to be released much earlier than the Magic V2, HONOR took about 6 months to ship the global version of the Magic V2 to global markets after launching in China.
